Professional Goals
Registered Dietitian Nutritionist
After completing the Combined MBA/RDN program at Dominican University in two years, I plan on passing the RDN exam and gaining work experience in a clinical setting as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist. I am unsure of the specialty I will receive a certification in, but after my graduate program, I believe I will have a clearer understanding of the specific field I hope to pursue as an RDN. After some work experience, I hope to gain more experience in the management setting as a clinical RDN supervisor in a hospital setting while building my private practice simultaneously. For my long term professional goal, I hope to build my own consulting nutrition practice in the future, specializing in plant-based preventative health for athletes, global health, and helping my clients. In my private practice, I hope to become a competent international Registered Dietitian Nutritionist also working in sports nutrition and clients to help improve the health of underdeveloped communities around the world with unique cuisines, sports, and the local community.
